Meet The Artist

I've been creating art all of my life. I've always liked picking up discarded items and liked old stuff. So it makes sense that I incorporated found objects into my art. I was a ceramicist for about 20 years. I worked with clay and a variety of other materials. In 2020 I got really sick and had to stop working with traditional clay. I now use an epoxy clay and work in a much smaller scale. I use mostly repurposed items in my work. Everything from old porcelain dolls, vintage fabric, pieces of broken furniture… I feel like I’m doing a small part in saving these old items, preventing stuff from going into landfills and making some great art.
My subject matter is a bit on the dark side. I’ve always been interested in the macabre. But it is more than macabre subject matter. I like anything mythical, mystical, spooky, creepy…the stranger, the better.
