“Familiar, nostalgic objects and scenes inspire me as an artist - I like every day things, especially when their meaning and context has evolved transforming their importance based on a time and place using these images my artwork takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues with a hint of humor, I use a combination of materials at my disposal, such as acrylics, latex, paint, molding paste, vintage news, print and magazines, graphite, oil stick, and wood panels to create 2D mixed media pieces”
