Spider 8 is a regular spider. Her favorite time of year is the fall with leaves turning and warm houses to shelter in. According to Ted Andrews "spider reminds us that the world is woven around us. We are the keepers and the writers of our own destiny, weaving it like a web by our thoughts, feelings and action."  The spider web itself is seen as a symbol of the Goddess and the creation of life. So many myths revolve around the spider. She is Arachne,  Grandmother Spider, Jorogumo, Anansi, Uttu, and Aragog. Spider 8 tells us to seek shelter in our own hearts, and to remember that all life forms share this planet together as the interconnected web of Mother Earth. Thank you to the spiders.
